Currently running a slot1 p3@966. Really would like to move to water cooling. I'm looking for a complete kit to start out with. Are some of the complete systems, (Aquastealth-II, DD, etc) worth it as a first attempt? Or should I just try and piece it all together? Also, is there any real benefit to having the pump in the water res instead of just running it in-line w/o a res? FWIW, where I live, room temp rarely goes over 73f.

I'm a newb to all this also and from what I've gathered from watching the forums for the past 3 weeks is that its best to build your own. Every kit has a part that isn't the best. The set up that I have ordered is
Danger Den Maze 2 waterblock Hydrothruster 500 QV pump Aquacoil radiator making a reservoir-like rig that trilobyte made which can be seen here http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=135056 Its like half inline half reservoir. Just need to figure out how to get the parts in the US in a small town =( After that all I'll need is a computer to put it on lol. |

best setup is water res and inline pump. I'm sure Joe can explain better but it basically is, pump in water is bad cos it heats the water, no water res is bad as it makes the system harder to bleed and more prone to pressure build up.
