the newer one with the plex top and U channel , is this thing any good , and do you know if it will work with the gainward gf3 without having to take off the ramsinks. Anyone have it show some pics. Or anyone have any other recommendations for ones that will fit. Or ones that are decently priced and cover ram too.

looks like im going to have to do something with them , got an email back from DD with a pic of a gf3 ti200 and the block and man those barbs run right over one of the memory chips , but i dont know how much different the ti200 is then my normal gf3 will have to see. HOPEFULLY the barbs actually touch the chip or are close , i can probaly sand down a penny and use it as a riser to transfer heat and just have the barbs cool a chip or so wont be like a total water cooling thing but should work somewhat

I removed the RAMsinks on my Gainward gf3 ti200 and the RAM actually works at a higher speed. Strange. :P

no where to host , but the barbs go right over a ramchip i got my block what i did was took off the ramsink and i put them in a vice then just took these pliers like with little tongs on the end for cutting and tore out 3 fins where the barbs went through.
filed it down flat , put the sinks back on with artic alumina epoxy , and then it fit perfect
