Zalman 300W Power supplies... Anyone have experience with htese? Zalman is a great company and the psus are AMD certified. However, I typically don't trust anything running under 350w for an Athlon system. I'm lured by its low noise. Anyone throw me a bone here.

It's quite good, tie-to-tie with the 300W unit from SeaSonic.
Get there: http://www.silentpcreview.com/module...rtid=28&page=1 A coworker of mine has just bought the Seasonic, once he's back from lunch i'll tell you about his feelings. (note) besides Seasonic (and i think Zalmann as well) make 'silent' units up to 450W. |

I asked him about his new PSU:
- it's very stable, no boot-up problem - he cannot hear it over his 80mm case fan |

Note: AMD no longer certifies PSUs, so anyone who still makes that claim is at least a year behind the times.
