Ok, so I was at my computer and it was very loud and I couldnt figure it out. So I opened it up and searched for the noise. As it turns out there are 3 fans in my computer. I shut it down and I duct taped over all the fans. Also I added insulation around the harddrive to make it quieter too. Just wanted to tell anyone that is having the same problem as me! your welcome all

duct taping over your fans will reduce their airflow. insulating your hard drive will make it heat up more. hardly a topic for the waterblock forum

Duct Taped over your fans???
Rofl... Hmmm thats not good if you dig cooling the hardware in your PC. you could just fill up the case with "GOOD STUFF" ( that foam spray stuff) I am sure that would silence it all up good ![]()

if you want quiet why not just disconnect the fans? insulating your hard drive is nuts, prolonged exposure to extreme heat can hurt it (data loss).
