Default Hole measurements on graphic cards ?

Are the fastening down holes on graphic cards laid out in the same place for different models of the cards ?
I ask because I have a GF MX type of card and wondered that if I make myself a block using the holes to fasten it down will I be able to transfer the block to say a GF4 ?

Cheers
Chris.

All NVidia cards have the same 'corner' holes from TNT to Geforce3. GF4 holes are set further away from each other and thus need a different retention mechanism.
This is true for 95% of NVidia cards, though i've seen exceptions...

Yes but usually NB blocks have 'straight' barbs sticking out of top, and GFX blocks have 'side' barbs.
But if you don't care about losing many PCI slots...
