chipset blocks?

how many of you guys have done chipset blocks? i'm looking to quiet down a puter coming up with fans on the chipset along with everywhere else in the computer. if i replaced that with a waterblock it would help out (noisy little sucker) anyway i'm curious if you used just miniture models of your current blocks like cathars design or went a completely different route. any pics would be appreciated too.

Check out #Rotors design. It's a very efficient design and a very easy build. I have personal experience with this design as I use it in my block builds as well. I have built multiple CPU blocks as well as a vid block. Next I will be building the NB block and HDD block for a HUGE project I'm working on.

fragn'stien, thanks for the url. I'll probably machine something out a bit different, maybe a mini cathar copy or something along those lines. the reason i'll machine rather than drill like that, well i find it easier to do, if you have the machines and tools there that is. also this is for NB too.

I've just made a batch up. (Will be posting a thread shortly)

Just a simple U shape. However Chipsets are such low heat loads that its really just about low flow resistance and ease of manufacture and install etc.
