I really tried to get an EHEIM, but couldnt find anyone who sells one here.
so i started looking for other options. i found this: http://www.adaniels.com/RENA/Rena_C_40_Turbo.htm basically it says it pumps 1000lts/hour, max head 2m and that may be used out of the water. anyone knows this brand?? RENA?? i've been told they are italian. |

I don't think Rena's ever made it to the US.
It looks like an OK pump. The head is low (6 feet), but the flow is there (~250 gph). Note that it's designed to be used submerged, not in-line. |

i think it can be modded into an inline pump.
