This is my new waterblock.
A microchannel with the channels in form of radios. As those of the bigben2k drawings but lightly different. My few tools have not allowed to differ more the design. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() - Base of copper C101 (Silver Plated) 60x50x5,5 - 18 or 12 channels of 0,9mm. - Thickness in the center 1,5 mm. Can't wait to see the performance! Nice silver finish.
Have you done any testing, comparing the bare copper versus the silver plating? |

I am very tired of making tests with blocks.
The performance is not something important for my, to my I like to build them, later I prove them after several weeks of having it finish. In my Nº4 I detect an improvement of around 1ºC in favor of the silver pattern. Both surfaces polished mirror. The oscillation of the internal diode prevents to be more I specify I don't understand because since the silver layer is very fine. Symbiosis with the Artic Silver? I not it However the pattern also taken a bath in copper improvement the performance of that of copper nude. Then, I don't understand anything but they work me better. Max, depends on the quantity of pieces that are taken. I usually take between 30 and 50 blocks. That reduces the cost.
In any case it should overcome the 2€. Nicozeg, a disk saw of 100 mm of diameter and 0,8 mm of thickness. No, Liquid Rulez, I buy copper and once finished the block plates it Thank you Gungrefjaert, this it is my hobby although it doesn't have the tools and machines very appropriate. I have to make some more blocks, if I believe it convenient I will tell him as I made it with images. Ketchak. www.devilmaster.cjb.net |
