For that price, I could watercool at 2600 Mhz Athlon, 9700 Pro, 8RDA+, 512 XMS3500 (256x2), and all the goodies. New. With a good pump. Under $1100 USD.

That's odd...using prices from newegg...i price it oout around 1800 without shipping or tax.

Case alone would cost about $500 to have shipped to you in the US right?

Especially a forum of some pretty extreme computer geeks. It's almost impossible to sell components to people who can get those same components for the same prices, and it's ten times as hard selling complete systems to people who only build their own.

Does anyone on the boards use a retail machine, or have any interest in purchasing a built system other than for spare parts?
