Keeping the topic, most of the tbred-B that i've seen are in fact 2400+. Althou i admit there are weeks better that others, but most of them usually OC almost as much as another . But with good reason:
The manufacturing process has gone up to a high level, so it doesnt pay to drop the quality of the processors to actually make 1700+ or others lower than a 2400+. Thus, as far as i know/seen, most are 2400+ locked at whatever speed the market is selling more. So its not that surprizing they can OC very high.
