I'm starting to see cases that have motorized sliding front panels and such. I was thinking, what about using a servo or two from a remote controlled car to push the door open on a antec\cheiftec case? Maybe a good DIY project, one i might look into...

It would be cheaper and more cost efficient to adapt a cheap remote controlled toy, if you really want to do this.
Why remote control though? Just conceal a button somewhere. |

what about a remote car start, one button to power up the computer, another to open the panels, and a third wired to the cd tray?
