Default Mercury as a liquid for cooling?

Would Mercury be a good system cooling liquid? I was just thinking about it, and if you didn't use a TEC it will stay a liquid. The only problem I see with it is, that if you don't cool it enough, it expands and could burst the lines. Any thoughts on using Mercury?

1) Very toxic.
2) Very heavy - hope you got a truely massive pump.
3) Very low heat capcity.

Three strikes right there.

Well that sucks. It was just a thought. I figured I might as well ask.

You should try a search for this over at the Overclockers.com forums... this question seems to come up almost once a week there, so you should be able to find plenty of discussion about it.
