Default What was the formula, hyperlube+ etc?

I rember this thread talking about good chemical mixure to fry those bactra and anticorrosion mixture. my watersystem has copper, brass, and a bit of stainless steel.

Anyway all i rember was something like this

Hyperlube + Gm Red Antifreeze + hot tub santizer (no chorline & brominine)

mixed at something like 80% water, 20% witch's brew.

where can i locate some hyperlube, gm red antifreeze, and santizer?

i'm in a small town of about 600 so odds is these items aren't local so i need some where to order them all online.

THANKS

It sounds like he's looking for a anti-biologic formula, which sure doesn't need all that. Just add a small (1-2) oz. of water wetter + distilled water and be done with it.

all i have been able to find out of that thread so far is "80% distilled, 10% Hyperlube, 10% sanitizer (to keep stuff from growing again)"

and i seem to recall that it was something like

GM Red antifreeze + hyperlube, sanitier

i'm looking for a percentage mixture of the above setup.

Hyper lube can be mailordered (unfortuneately in largish volumes) here Hyperlube

They only seem to sell it in 4 bottle packs for $32.00 (presumably plus shipping) They don't say what size the bottles are, I would guess 16 or 32oz. since thats the standard size for most 'magic engine potions'

I might be interested in sharing a package w/ someone, as I doubt that any WC folks could ever use up four bottles of the stuff...

Dexcool you should be able to get at any autoparts store, or possibly a GM / Toyota dealer.

The sanitizer can be had at your local pool store (hopefully) or Google for 'In-the-Swim' which is one of the bigger mail-order pool supply places.

i'm interested in acquating a bottle of hyperlube, do you have a paypal account, i can send u some cash to cover for the cost of that bottle + Shipping&handling, say somewhere around $10?

now about dex cooler, i got an local auto shop they might have it but then again its a small town so who knows. going to ask my dad to see if he can't find some

now about the sanitizer, there's not really any local pool store around here as i said small town in a backwater area so i guess i will take a look at "in-the-swim"

found some chorline free but no luck on the bromine free so i'm plugging that into google now. how about this one reseller look at this one "SANITIZER - SOFTSOAK, PT."

Hyperlube comes in 16oz bottles and costs $7.99 per bottle in anyplace you have a Schuck's/Krueger's/Checkers/etc. Napa may also carry it and they're everywhere.

That sanitizer looks like the stuff, man.

Hyperlube can also be found at Kragen Auto Parts if you have one of those around.
They are part of the Parts America group

I don't have a package of it yet - I just mentioned the link because I had it. Judging from the website distributor list, Hyperlube seems to be mostly in the Northwestern US.

I haven't checked the local autoparts stores yet, but since I'm in New England, I would be pleasantly surprised if any of them carried it. If I can't get it locally, I would have to either get a set of bottles from Hyperlube, or split a set with someone else.

If I end up getting a set I'll advertise it here that I'm looking to sell, mostly I was mentioning an interest in sharing with someone else that was getting a bunch...
