Default Fittings

Seems like barb fittings are pretty popular around here. Why not something else like compression fittings?

I don't really see that as a bad thing . How much will barbs hold up? Anyone here use push-in? If you ask me, barbs aren't really the sexiest options out there, but they must be pretty good if they're so popular.

Bladerunner uses the push in fittings and they look really nice, but like waterrat said barbs are cheap.
