Has anyone else tried CVD diamond powder in poly oil as thermal compound? It seems about the same as artic 5 I'm using, but I was hoping for some improvement due to higher thermal conductivity of diamond.

Never tried it, and don't plan to. I do seem to recall some discussion on it though with conclusion that it didn't do much. IIRC, the arguement was that while the diamond may conduct better in theory, you lost so much from bad fit up of the diamond particles to the surfaces and between the particles that the net result wasn't any better than the silver paste products.
Could be misremembering, but I don't think so. Gooserider
