I take it you mean Sydney, Australia?

Open the Yellow Pages and look under "Metal Merchants" or "Metal Suppliers"

None of the retail hardware stores will provide what you want.

Copper bar stock in Australia is typically sold using imperial dimensions. You want to ask for "C110 copper busbar stock"

The closest you'll get to 10mm is 3/8" (~9.5mm) in Australia, unless you pick up 1/2" thick stock and cut it down.

Bar stock of such thicknesses usually can be obtained in 1" wide, 2" wide formats, and you may even be able to pick it up in 3" and 4" wide strips.

They are typically sold in 8' long lengths. A single length will set you back a few hundred dollars depending on how thick it is. The metal merchant may be willing to cut off a shorter length for you.

well i found a place pretty close, but it has only ~6mill x ~40 x what ever
what i want would be about 1 cm thick (if that is too much for a #rotor sorta thing tell me now plz x about 40 mill x about 1 metre or so, but i expect it will either have to be cut up, or stuck into one of those mail tubes. if you have this much, how much am i looking at for it?

A #Rotor block can be done quite happily with two pieces of 1/4" thick copper material for the top and bottom.

I can happily get two pieces of 1/4" thick x 2" wide x 8cm long for you and ship it to you.

I'll get a price to you soon.

Well it seems like your local place already has you covered. Tell you what. Grab it from your local guy, and PM me if you think you want some more, of if they don't have quite what you want. Okay?

Just a small thing to add.

I find it interesting how the prices for copper here in Australia are so expensive in comparison to prices that I can obtain in Singapore.

Was out for a walk in the industrial area and I could get a 1' x 3" x 1/2" bar for abt $10 depending on how hard I wished to bargain with the store owner.

Anyhow, using aircraft aluminum currently for my blocks.
