I have a volcano 7 heatsink and would like to convert it into a water block by possibly soldering casing over the top .
I thought of going to a car wreckers and finding some sort of casing I could bolt over the top but this would probably require major modification to the HS. Any ideas has anyone already tried this can anyone think of a better method other than soldering. How effective would this be? |

Still no takers I might just sell the volcano and put the money toward buyiing a premade cpu block .

tiny fin hsf converted to water cooloers i converted 2 types of tiny fin copper coolers to water coolers. best thing to do is lower the fins down to 4mm and cut away to leave a 30x20mm area ofer the core. hope this helps
