I'm wondering how much temp differance there would be between the Swiftech NB air cooled sink and the Swifty NB waterblock.
Has anyone tried the Swifty air cooled NB sink as well as a watercooled NB block (any brand)? Does a water block add enough to the FSB to justify the added headloss in a loop when O/Cing? BillA, if you catch this thread I'd love to hear your advice on the pros & cons of each. |

I'm not an OCer so I cannot speak to the relative actual effect,
Gabe does that stuff 'round here my view of the two is that if one already has WCing, the NB wb is in effect a 'free ride' - NB cooling w/o any additional noise the impact on cpu cooling will depend on the NB cooler selected, and the pump capability of course with the Swiftech NB wb the head loss is minimal (a 180° moderate radius bend) and obviously a lower head capability pump will be more affected than one with higher pressure |
