First the general layout as it is now (but w/ cascade):
![]() I am going to rearrange the layout to: pump outlet -> bottom of rad -> CPU (easy) -> inlet of pump To do this properly I would like to take the pump and put it on its rear end (raise it slightly since the cord comes out there) so that the cascade outlet would drop right into the pump (forget the res for now) and the pump outlet would have a relatively straight shot to the bottom of the rad. Will setting the impeller in this arrangement cause any problems or does it 'float' in the magnetic field and not rub against the base? Also thinking of tapping bottom rad tank for drain connection and top tank for fill / air bleed / drain release (they don't have to be big connections). This would let me get rid of the res on the presently on the pump. Any thoughts on that idea? BillA - I am asking the same for when I get the mcp600 rev2 please ![]() Thanks MikeE

I had a 1048 on its tail and it worked just fine. Slightly quieter in fact than "stock" mounting
