While shopping for an Iwaki pump I went to my usual stops and saw these pumps. Hadn't seen them before but they sound very nice and as the name implies, quiet
![]() Anyone heard of these or used them before? The price aint too bad on em. I like the look of the design and the "cooling chambers". They may be a bit cooler running than a normal aquarium pump. Rainbow Lifeguard pumps |

Looks nothing like the one I bought a couple of summers ago. It has the same name though. The one I have is very quiet, and never had a problem with it. Must be a "new and improved" design. The one I have is rated around 1150 gph and I paid about $100US for it. The funny thing is I bought it from the same store as your link.

Yeah, the original quiet one pump is awesome. It is relatively quiet, pumps a hell of a lot of water, and is tiny (for a pump that does 1150 gph and 15 ft head!). Works great with my lifegard filter system in my 50 gal tank.
