why says you cant run mobiles on your desktop? You just got to make sure that you motherboard will support operation @ a lower voltages. There the same card as the 2400+ desktop, jsut made to opperate more effecient :-p |

Yeah, people overclock the 2500+ and the 2400+ mobiles like crazy. Most people hit 2.5-2.6 easy, others take it past 2.7 to 2.8 and above. Thems be crazy overclockers

I think u can run the 1.45 and 1.35 Vcore mobile in a desktop mobo but not the 1.25 as they are micropackaging...
I hope there are 1.25 that fit in a desktop mobo for your sake Most mobiles I've seen had a 1.45 vcore ... And some just wont go over 2.4gig on 2V (week 34 I think) But that could be because they dont cool there mosfets, they just dont give enough info. A database would be nice ![]() |

well, i'm convinced. i just ordered a 2600 mobile and an slk947u (doing some custom ramsinks for my 9700, gotta get rid of my zalman fan braket
![]() seems to be a fairly inexpensive upgrade to the ol' gaming rig that just might make it stay around longer than i thought it would ![]() if i can get the chip to hit 2.6-2.8, and get a decent oc out of my vid card (same mb), should have a decent jump in 3dm03 scores. although i'm sure my pc2700 is quite a bottleneck, not really ready to dump another $350 on this rig for the good stuff yet (still running hyperx ram).
