Default Needing Advice

Hello all,

I am attempting to build an external water cooling rig. Initially this will only be for my cpu block, later I plan on adding at least a 9800pro block (will the silverprop hexus hl fit w/out modification?) and likely a hard drive block for the raptors in the works.

I am working with these parts... I have an eheim 1060 but will likely resell, I am looking around for Iwaki MD20RZL, (do I want the t or not? what fittings will I need to purchase either way for a 1/2" ID loop). I also have my cpu block and a chipset/radeon block from Polarflo (got cheap). I am looking to house the radiator(s), pump, and res in my old lan rig... Lian Li pc-42, which is 341mm in height, 189mm wide, and 320 mm deep, from front perspective.

My primary question is... due to space I obviously can't use a 120.3, could i possible use 2 120.2's with 6 120mm delta 1212vhe's in push pull... I doubt this is ideal but if I have the return feed from the blocks go into the top 120.2 then to the lower, wouldn't the heat in the case that rises toward the top create a higher water to air gradient... and the 2nd radiator while it would have less heat dissipation naturally from the heat extracted from the first radiator, would just serve as just that little extra heat removal from the loop.

I think what I am saying is...

Please comment on the expected performance, of 2 Thermochill 120.2's with 6 fans in push pull. I beleive the pressure of the delta 1212vhe's was adeqaute even at 7v to penetrate the radiator effectively, and as there is no distance increase related to how far the air needs to travel between fans in a 6 fan push/pull configuration as opposed to 4 fans.. should I expect any problems.

My proposed setup is The Iwaki MD-20RZL (and depending on your feedback, the T or not). Both of my blocks use copper base and anodized aluminum tops... so I expect to use 5-10% Zerex additive. Dual 120.2 in push pull sandwitched with 6 Delta's.. the pump and likely either a custom or maybe a dual floppy bay res (do I need one with the bleed washer of the 120s?). All in my lil' Lian Li. The one 5 1/4 bay will have a rheobus of some sort... I have the bay cover and drills, if anyone know where i can buy the rheostats bare... .. the cases power supply (mATX 180w) will run the rheostat and the 6 deltas... I am debating on how I should increase air intake... The case has only a filtered 80mm intake. I can cut a 120mm intake in the bottom of the case and add a filter, and allow the vacuum effect to draw air in the 2 fan holes. For now I am also thinking about how I would want to mount these radiators and fans... I think I want to use one long threaded bolt per fan/shroud hole... for a total of 8 "pillars"... the pump can easily fit in the center of the case and these pillars shouldn't interfere with the power uspply either. I would anchor the peices together with a series of nuts/washers... and likely have some sort of gasket between each fan and the shrouds/case top.

This is all in the idea gathering stage right now... but I am hoping to move on this in the next week... My mobile 2600 barton and mobo have arrived and I can't wait to play with them... I am running it at 434Mhz fsb, 217x11 (reads 2394) @ 1.5v!! only tested prime95 so far for about 2 hours no errors...

Anyways... I made my first post here a long one but I hope in the future I can contribute to this community.

Thanks in advance for any advice or comments....
