Great Acrobat Reader tweak

This is an absolute must-have for anyone who has the Acrobat Reader installed (probably most of us):

Adobe Reader SpeedUp

Lets you select which internal plugins should be loaded when Acrobat Reader starts up. Most of these (over 40!) are never used, but Acrobat reloads them every single time and takes forever to start up.

Run the program, click "Speed Up," and you're done.

My load times for PDF files in IE went from over 15 seconds (my browser would freeze) to just under 3 seconds.

Yes. That is an accurate and un-edited response from KnightElite and me. Unless it has some sort of hidden ticking time bomb virus, it is the best small tweak I have seen in quite some time. It's like going from boot times of two minutes with a fully loaded Windows 2000, to booting with a fresh XP install.
