I'd like a list of all Intel CPU and chipset codenames in chronological order. Any knowledgeable geek who might be willing to help should post here. It's for a good cause

McKinley is the Itanium2 I believe (the HP designed Merced)
Isnt Geyeserville a Technology not a CPU? I thought that is the name of the power savings tech

Gallatin is the next Xeon, with 4mb L3 Cache
Nocona is the Xeon after that, with 64-bit extensions Potomac is the Xeon with 64-bit extensions for 4 and 8 way systems Banias is the current Pentium M (the processor component of Centrino) Dothan is the successor to the current Pentium M with 2mb L3 Cache Canterwood is in fact a chipset - it is the 875 P4 chipset Yamhill is codename for Intel X86-64 features - to be enabled in Nocona and Potomac Applebred is the .13 micron AMD Duron processor Thorton is the Barton core with 256kb cache (its a combination of the words Thoroughbred & Barton) thats all the help I can give off the top of my head
