Default Idle thoughts on a hot Sunday afternoon - ATA66 raid or ATA100?

While sitting here sweating my... <ahem> ears off in middle Georgia (the air con's buggered and it's 30C in here!) I started to ponder the question - would a single 30Gb IBM 75GXP on a ATA100 controller be quicker than a pair of 30Gb 75GXP's in a RAID-0 array on a ATA66 RAID controller?

Does anyone have any input to this, before I order another drive and take a soldering iron to my Ultra66 to turn it into a Fastrack66.
