Its pretty simple really, just have a calibration fan, and make it relatively loud. DB levels are not _that_ bad. Testing waterblocks to within half a degree of each other is a different ball park altogether.

If people use say, a delta 120mm WFB1212M or something similar, then calibrate that noiselevel to a speaker system they get an idea of the level of loudness. Incidentally, i think thats exactly what SPCR do... but they use an M1A or something.
