I am trying to find some good music editing/mixing software for my computer. I have downloaded some steinburg software demos *wink*wink but they all seem way too complex. I'm not wanting to get these songs on a major feature album. Just some stuff I can mess around with and listen to in my room or maybe give to my friends. I also want to be able to use my sisters electronic keyboard (yes it does have a way to hook into a computer).

CoolEdit
CUbase It depends on what exactly you want to do. Audio mixing is pretty memory and processor intensive. Unless you've got a lot of memory, 7200rpm drive, and a 1Gig plus proc. be prepared to wait when mixing 44K stereo files. Like get up and grab some food wait. BTW, don't wink like that. People will think you have something in your eye or flirting.
