I guess we were ahead of our time in high school.

I had a Turbo 400 muffler on my 4-banger Chev Monza. Those muffler's gave the V8's a nice low rumble...on my car it sounded high and whiney.

The most annoying of our group...my friend's '86 VW Rabbit with a Glass Pack. It sounded like a chainsaw, and it popped and gurgled on the downshifts.

At least my car got quiet when I lifted the throttle, that Rabbit got stopped all the time for noise.

yall need to stop by my school. Give us a few minutes and you won't hear those fart pipes anymore

. Open header V8s all around sort of kill that evil bee in a coffee can sound. Less and less V8s though. More and more bees. ANd turbo mufflers don't give a good rumble. I hate turbo mufflers. They have crap for flow and crap for sound. Flowmaster 40 series, glasspacks, and Dynomax race mufflers are it for me.

please give me a trans am over a rice burner any day of the week.. those little cars are weak . i can't even sit in a civic .
