congrat's !!!

Every mill is better than no mill!

Not that I know much about mills, but that wheels I see still look convertable to me... at least x and y axis...

Again, congrats!

I have to pay $1500 for it, but heck, those mills are Swedish-maded and the quality is far beyond those taiwan-crappos.
Much hand-maded details and robust as a moofooo...

Very nice looking mill indeed, looks good quality too, as I'm sure all swedish made machines are.
Good price also

Well pinol, is mechanism for fine Z axis movement and also where you mount chuck & collet, by (probably) MK type morse conus.
So digitscale on pinol would be very nice feature.

did I understand this right: digit scale on pinol, it tells you how deep you go with the bit?

If thats in good working condition, then $1500 looks like a damn good price I've seen mini tabletop mills go for $2000+

I wish I had $$$ for a mill, but my previous spending spree has put me with $7000 in credit cards bills

about 3 hours left. 2.59....2.58...

The funny thing is that this mill is a industrialmill and it costed maybe $50000 20 years ago, and still its a good machine...You can easely hunt down 0.01mm on those.

In 4 hours.

But what about the chuck or collet? There isn't any included.
What shall I use with a 1/2" (12mm) endmill?

I'd been watching your other thread where you were trying to decide on a mill Chrion - glad to see you found a good deal! I know very little about mills - it's been four years since I did Design & Technology GCSE - but I'm picking up quite a lot reading these forums. Still a while before I'll be able to afford my own though - gotta finish university first and pay off my student debts

Hope you like it!

I don't have access to the mill before next weekend, I live on the school that it about 60km from where I normaly live...
But heck, thats more time for me to plan and discust (spell? :P)
stuffs with you guys.

Its a motor on the X-axis so the mill is autofeeding. thats REALLY nice.
When I mill in AL, how deep do I go before I move the stuff sideways? 2mm? 5mm? 0.5mm?
I understand that it is different with different kinds of endmills and so on but we say that I use 12mm endmills. ok?
