Silver CD or DVD drives

Does anyone know anywhere that sells silver cd or dvd drives besides directron? I can't seem to find anywhere , not even ebay!! --Bikr

They have a large selection of silver components...CD/CDRW/DVD/Floppy/Monitors/Mice/Keyboards etc. They also have a wide selection of black and other colors. I purchased a Pioneer DVD with a blue face plate for a project I am working on.

Beware...you do pay a premium.

hardware store sells silver spray paint and masking tape.

i have sprayed my drives twice, its really easy, and often looks better than the colored ones you can buy.

try www.performance-pcs.com, they have a nice variety of silver cd-roms, dvd-roms, and cd-rws. Otherwise, purchase the drive you want and send the bezel to www.designcomp.net, they dye bezels for $8.00 plus shipping.
