Well, as long as none of the oil somehow leaks out, it's a lot safer than "normal" liquid cooling. You don't have to worry about your water spilling, or condensation, of waterblocks falling off, or just about everything you would normally worry about. Hell, its probably safer than normal air cooling. No chance of crushing your core or a failing fan here
![]() BTW I'd been looking for that article, thanks for posting it. |

Don't buy it.
1. Do you really think that the heatsink they show can cool down 340w of heat?!?! (170x2) 2. OCZ has a horrible rep. 3. How do you realistically add/remove PCI/AGP cards w/out getting full of mineral oil? 4. They never show one pic of the assembled system. i could have taken pics of shit aroudn my house and convinced you I had this submersive cooling shit just as well as they did. If somehow they manage to produce a marketable product, i'll be shocked. -KEv

Kevin, you are right about heatsink issue. I'am wondering myself how they are gonna cool it with only 2 fans.
I have seen some posts about the bios chipset not being able subzero temperatures. Anyway I'am gonna wait a month and see what is happening. Maybe I go for the VAPOCHILL |

Good call... just wait it out. I mean if this thing somehow comes out and it is like god's gift to overclocking, then i'll buy one too!
