imo the channells look really restrictive, maby smaller drill bit would increase the flow, there seems to be alot of dead space with the large holes/small channels, and you might not get the water flowing very fast againts the walls around the holes
but I like the concept, it's be interesting to see a comarison, adn it's great to see a variation instead of a straight copy |

tensor i meant that the holes patern is an hexagon, not all the cooling area.
trit, the channels might be a little widder (they are 1mm wide there, those might actually be 1.5mm wide). the holes have a 5mm diameter. |

i posted with the same idea earlier. here is a link http://forums.procooling.com/vbb/sho...&threadid=7810
read what #rotor said, it's easier to put the inlet/outlet at a 45deg angle. see my drawing B a little further down the thread. when i checked, #rotor's image didnt work, but his site does up and down like that, so eventually it'll be back up. i am trying that aproach soon. to make sure everything else is kept constant, i am using one bottom and making two diff tops. |

i didnt made the vertical channels to avoid the problem your design had maxim.
making only the diagonal channels, the liquid/copper ratio is ok. i will consider what trit said about smaller holes. |
