Did you know that 5 companies control 75% of the cable Internet service in the US, and that in all cases you are forced to go trhough only one of them if obtaining these services, and pay hyper-inflated prices... disgusting!!

i switched to earthlink cable. kinda funny because all the billing and hardware and stuff is handled through TW. but, tw was changing their billing structure, limiting your line speeds and even transfers, making you pay twice as much for normal unregulated service.
earthlink provides good ol' version of RR for the same price that tw jacked it up. so far been pretty happy. but, it's the same as road runner. it's even more reliable than it used to be. unfortunately the line speed is capped now. on my old biz line i was given a line speed of 512k up/1mb down, and i was pulling 3.6 down. now based on speed tests, i'm right at 2mb down, i think i'm 256k up (back on plain old residential cable... didn't want to pay that much just to run an http and game server). but still, i don't have to worry about monthly b/w limits or any of that crap.
