Bah, I sent him en email a few weeks ago and never got a reply. Needless to say, I'm not too confident in purchasing anything from that site.
On another note, I am wiring some money to the makers of the K4.1 block. They are going to send me one ![]() -Ice- |

I also had the same deal with ocwc. I got the bl extreme in like 4 days. I also sent an email asking when it was going to ship. He answered the same day. Maybe he didn't have of the pump/res in stock

if i had a company rating like that i'd probly fill my last orders and shut down. Here's chips problem, His business has grown so big that it's so much for a single man to do. He needs a staff to handle everything. He cant do it all himself and he doesn't understand that. I can see OCWC closing down soon, unless he turns it around, gets a staff and earns his reputation back. it's not gonna be easy, but he can do it if he stops hiding and wants to stay in business. For some reason i can see that place closing up in the near future. Oh well, theres always a place at McDonalds for him, either that or the city sanitation services

When I ordered from OCWC it took 20 days for it to ship, but I accepted it because I was getting a custom order(Original Black Ice with low pressure drop mod and 1/2" fittings) and in his info page it says to expect a 5-20 day delay. My big problem is he never answered my email until I sent a semi-threatening message.

your suffering because you dont get an email back in .4 seconds? try sending an email to abit, or microsoft, they have a staff of 100000 pple, yet you get the same response (no response)
why should customers suffer? if you dont like his business, dont buy from him. |

thats bs, if I want to know something from Abit, I just go to their website, find a phone number and ring them.
If I want to find something about about chip, I should be able to ring him and if he is on the phone, I'll just ring again, but from what I hear he is always on answering machine

I personally like working with OCWC. You may have to email chip acouple times, but he is very helpfull. I have had three blocks from him(2 prottypes) that all worked great. I just got a new iceflow and I am getting nearly 10F better with generic compound than I was with AS2 with my vtuned. If you have some patience, I think it pays off to work with them. But if you dont have patience, go somewhere else. It will make it quicker for others if less people are emailing him. I dont see him going out of business soon.

I dont know if you saw, but HWLabs has gone to Danger Den now for the Black Ice series of radiators. OCWC seemed to have burned a bridge there also....
He may not go out of business, and I hope he doesnt, but I dont see him lasting too much longer in the watercooling hobby ( maybe getting into another area instead.). As someone said in another forum a few days ago, which is similar to some stuff said here: "I chose to buy from a company cause I didnt want ghetto quality that would happen if I did it myself, so I ordered from chip. What I got was more ghetto than anything I coulda made and it took 4 months to get it..."

![]() ![]() OUCH!! Well quite frankly I only have one thought on this whole OCWC deal. Personally I agree with half of the previous statement as the only OCWC products which I have ever purchased was a Res/Pump from Case Etc. I bought it believing it would be professional and well built and what I got was of poor quality and VERY ghetto. It worked yes, but wasn't exactly what I had hopped for. As to OCWC my oppinion is simple, if Chip can't be bothered to ship a product in a reasonable ammount of time for which legal tender has been served than frankly he is running one thing...internet fraud.

I ordered a Koolance case + extras from Chip in September. I called my credit card company in December to get my money back. I got no responce from Chip. How long should I wait, 6 months, a year?? I placed the same order with Plycon and received everything in about 2 weeks. I still have not heard from Chip.

HOLY SHIT !
Get this. I was tipped off in an anon email that WatercooledCPU is OCWC!!!! I did some checking, and it IS!!! I am sorry from the evidence I found in some simple looking that confirmed this, I have lost all respect for OCWC. I am in awe of how much lie'n and stealing is going on with this company.
