Creature. Does what help? I assume that you mean the inlet over the core. I think it helpsdo you to a certain degree, but my opinion of the maze3 with that large open volume, I dont think it really matters. I am sure there are arguments bothways. But the theory has opened up a new set of designing methods. I am sure that any preformance gains are slight.

Fixitt:
When are we going to get some specs. on that block and then when might it be available? That looks like the perfect block replacement in my system, IF it does better than say a Maze2 or even a Maze3.

and to leak more info... the block will be available in about two weeks, and will have a provision for mounting a Pelt.
I like the turbulators! I just wish that the inlet and outlet came out of the sides, instead of the top, as it would decrease the flow resistance, but then it wouldn't fit for a lot of people... here comes another mod! |

I'd prefer a centre inlet and two outlets, it wouldn't be hard to modify either, just drill into the top, then tap it

OMG OMG OMG. That block is a work of ART. I'd put it on show at the local art museum! What are the dimensions on that block? The flow chamber doesn't look to huge. Has anyone gotten any static die numbers? How much are they going to cost? BlaH! I'm SO jealous! You machine shop harlots! lol
![]() I wish I had a CNC miller! BTW- Does anyone know how to get rid of this "hot stank" crap... that's going to get jokes, I know it! |

I got lucky enough to see that block in action on Friday.
![]() ![]() ![]() I am going to have a fire sale on a Maze3 and Maze2 the day the TC-4 is available. And yes!!!! These are being done at the same shop as the Spirals. ![]() |

Ahh Ric, U must be the gentelman that went by Dteks shop. Danny told me you went over. So....... like what you see?
Yes, the new Spir@ls are being made by the same machine shop. Danny fronted the cash, and I gave them the designs, and we made some small changes. Only so more people could enjoy these things as we have. Well. Fire sales are always fun. WHOO HOOO

Mr. Fixittt, would you consider making that block with inlet/outlet that come out the side of the block? I think it would be less flow restrictive. (Assuming it fits on my mobo, of course!)
I really like the spiral design, I'd lke to see some numbers on pressure drop at different flow rates, as I suspect they are what makes this block such a good one. |

fix, do you think you could put a 1/2" ID or 5/8" ID copper pipe through the middle of the block? 3 barbs will be cool, and it might give enough performance benefit to make dtek offer it as a standard option
