I'm about to build a water cooling system for my new computer its going to be a dual athlon mp machine with a GeForce FX 5900 Ultra and a tyan thunder k7x mother board going in a Lian-Li PC-70 case. what I would like to do is cool both processors and the gpu with the water but I need a radiator with multipul inlet and outlet tubes. I would like to do is have the water go from one bater block to the radiator to the other water block back to the radiator and then back to the last water block and then into the resivar then the pump and back to the radiator to start to process all over again. Any help or seggestions will be greatly appreciated

Don't bother, just go from one block to the next. The water only picks up about .5C on the first block. The rad will not work as your suggesting anyway unless you use two rads. Then your loss of flow rate will kill any performance you might gain.

from what i have read in the forums here..
the water moves so fast through the water block that it only increases in temperature a little bit.

That's about right.
With a CPU running to throw 80 Watts in the loop, assuming a 1 gpm flow rate (60 gph), the temp difference between the CPU block's inlet and outlet will be ~0.3 deg C. As my buddy Martin put it here, it's calculated by: P*t/(C*m)=DT P: power (watts) t: time (second) C: 4190 J/(kg*K) m: coolant mass (kg) And that doesn't account for a 2% secondary heat loss. |

alright thanks for every thing but just one last question I want to build a shroud for the radiator, because I can't find prebuilt ones online, but I don't want to build some flimsy pos out of cardboard or plastic. I was thinking of buying some sheet metal from home depot or someplace like that and build it myself but can you post of articles on how to build them I'm not very handy with tools but any help would be helpful thanks again
