Could be a handy little unit, if the 'availiable soon' extentions become available "The T-Balancer is a modular system to which you can add more components, to be available soon: * LCD module for monitoring temperatures and speed * Water temperature sensors and flowmeter * Small, compact analog temperatur sensors"

Probably accurate enough to say when something is too hot, but I wouldnt measure anything with it.
IE: if it says 90C you should probably be scared.

yeah, i never intended it to be taken as a professional testing product, but if the price is right its a very nice way of controlling fans and basic system monitoring.
"# Fanless external power supply for use of T-Balancer/Lightblaster® without PC" I like this idea. Most fan controllers leave quite a lot to be desired, imo - this one may bridge the gap nicely. I wonder how effective the pwm filtering is...

Despite the attempts at being funny (?), temperature monitoring is clearly what it is intended for. As such, accuracy of one to two degrees C is good enough to produce usefull measurements for this purpose. I'd prefer one degree C or better accuracy if I was overclocking. |
