I was thinking about purchasing an Innovatek kit with the Enheim 1048 and was wondering if anyone here owns it already? Are they a solid company and does it peform well?

from what I've seen it does perform quite well, and they are a good company, but I think that their stuff isn't worth the shipping time and cost all the way from Germany to the US. If you live in England, or Europe in general, I'd look into buying one

They are in the US and carry their kits... That is why I am still considering purchasing the kit. |

the mounting system is quite good, but yeah, apart from the block and their eheim resivoir, there is nothing they do that is good

Come'n Brad $70 + shipping is too high for a block with 1/4" fittings.
You can almost buy two Swifty MCW372 or DD Maze1 blocks for that price . and I checked out their kit for $250 which includes Eheim 1046 (not 1048, it's $15 extra) + res, that radiator with "I'm a bad performer and am bulky, too" written all over it and VINYL TUBING. READ = EXPENSIVE , NO CORRECTION = 250 for this kit is RIDICOLOUS I saw a better performing kit for an amazing price over @ cooltechnica.com when I pre-ordered my BI Xtreme (finally and it's chrome plated, too ayayay ![]() Now that's what I call a good kit... if it is german it is automatically expensive, look at their cars
![]() as I've said before, their block may be good, but it is expensive, the rest of their stuff isn't too good

Only real reason I was considering it was because of the resevoir and this being my first watercooling project... If I go for an inline system... how does the "t" work? Somone have any pictures of their system and how the t works to fill.

pro/staff Unaclocker has a good article on the subject.
http://www.procooling.com/articles/h...op_h2o_s.shtml but i don't recommend F&B system and building yourself a res is much easier. Here's a procooling style RC Tank: ![]() more details here: http://www.procooling.com/articles/h...-_page_3.shtml |

well f&b system is not all bad, but adding a res to the system is much easier...
and don't waste your money over the innovatek kit, just because of a stupid res. if you don't want to build yourself a res, you can always purchase it seperately... well it's your money and innovatek kit will be your loss, but just my 2 cents... |
