I finally finished my system. Sorry if you click the link and get jack, hopefully the volume here isn't as high as some of the other forums.
![]() LINK I'm not too terribly impressed with the temperatures I'm getting... I guess they're OK, considering that the ambient temperature in this room is around 75-80*F (CPU is around 36*C). There are a lot of ghetto points that I'd like to clean up... such as the bubble-wrap shock absorber for the pump. I tried to use foam, but it transmitted too much vibration; the bubble wrap works fine, and as soon as I get my relay done, the case will always be closed. I also need to cut a hole in the front of my case to facilitate air movement through the heatercore... but I won't have access to tools for a few months. |

What CPU are you trying to cool? What speed? Voltage?
That would be handy in order to tell you just how good/bad your temps are. Just as a comparison, my CPU runs 6C-7C over my case temps and I am cooling a 1.4Tbrid @ 1725mhz @ 1.85V. (Pathetic temps, I know. Hope to fix that soon) Otherwise looks decent.

Athlon XP 1800+ (1.53GHz) @ stock 1.75V. With my pal8045 ducted to a 120mm H1A, I would get about 42-43*C with my current setup.
On a side note, the ambient in this room is significantly higher than what the thermostat in my place is reporting, since it's in another room. :P |
