Aerosol help - Wardriving

Hello all , I installed a wireless card a DLINK DWL650 on my laptop and installed Aerosol , now when I run aerosol it just asks me which card to use , i select the card and hit ok and it goes away and the gui never comes up.. it just runs in the background and does nothing.. Anyone know what step i'm missing?

Its not a DWL650H is it? As I recall Aerosol only supports prism2 chipsets, and the 650H is NOT a prism2 chipset. Other than that, I don't use Aerosol so I don't know alot about is usebility.

It's not the H or the + , it's the dwl650 , I just installed 2000 advanced server on the lappy and now it's working fine.. lol so i guess it was just bitching about 98 -bikr

just an FYI, if your looking for an awsome pcmcia card for wardriving take a look at these. They also have models with external antenna connectors. I just purchased one on ebay for 124 bucks. http://www.senao.com/products/wlan%2...511cd_plus.htm
I currently use an Orinoco Gold card with an 8db external antenna for wardriving.

very nice,, I'm thinking about going with the orinoco gold but i'm not sure really yet.. this card was free so I'm gonna start out with this and see where the hobby takes me =) --bikr
