Wall thickness

I'm going to order some ClearFlex from Mcmasters and wanted to know if 1/8" or 1/16" is better. What's the advantage of using one over the other?

thicker wall is less likely to kink at sharp turns in the tubing

But thicker tubing can create torque on the waterblock, this is especially a problem for AMDs because of the small core size. Thicker tubes do let less water evaporate in the system though.

With a proper mounting (and a proper block... No RBX's here) the strain from 1/8" wall tubing will not be a great issue, especially since you are using Tygon.

I use 1/8" clearflex 60 - Im happy with it
