What? I can’t hear you my PC is hot…
I was reading about intel newest solution to their prescot heat issues at http://www.overclockers.com/articles995/ . It’s all fine and dandy until you get to the end of the first paragraph and notice that it only weighs 3.8 pounds. My first reaction was disbelieve but I went back and sure enough 3.8 pounds, most of which can be accounted for by the big block of copper. I went on to read the rest of the article, and by the end I could not stop laughing by the warning label that might be included with this unit. On the plus side the unit is able to achieve a cw of .14 @ about 8500 rpms, but it violates OSHA 93.03a. If that’s not enough you will need a “valve-spring compression tool” to install the heatsink. If you have not read the article the link is above
– How big can you get -

MWHAHAHAAAAAAHAHAAAA! that's just awesome. someone out there will buy it, recieve permanent hearing damage and sue. perhaps water cooling is the safer alternative in this case?

Check out this link to a pretty funny flash cartoon about the Intel "Prescott" processor.
