Even better yet, I can probably get a job @ dell next year for my summer job, so that should be interesting. If anything, I can probably get a laptop for cheap or another 2001fp monitor for my setup. This should be pretty cool. Me happy

Any chance of getting him to add an option on the Dell "system configurator" : NO free AOL - NO "free offers" pre-installed.
I spend time getting these off newly-purchased systems all the time - would be cheaper for the companies I work for to just pay something extra to not get this stuff on there in the first place... |

Heheh, maybe I can get on the R&D team and introduce them to liquid cooling technology for microprocessors
Hell, if Sony, Alienware, and Apple can do it, the next logical step is dell.

hey guys, computer techies make a lot of money off of getting rid of computer companies' extra crap. dell does it, compaq/hp does it, just about every major computer company does. except emachines, i think. they just toss a computer together, make sure it works, and ship it out. of all the modern computer companies (alienware included) i like emachines best. so keep the stupid extra "free offers" and "tour windows!" type things, and keep us in business. otherwise, all we have to keep us going is viruses and spyware. job security is what it's all about.
