Athlon XP on KT7-e??????
would it work?
i know the fsb would have to run at 266 but im pretty sure my board will do it. chers guys. user12 |

I don't see why not. Figure that as long as the KT7A works, the "E" version should too. All KT7Es work at 133 mhz FSB no problem. I know mine does. It has all the proper divisors too.

yeah, twas what i figured too.
but, i was thinking that you have to have rev.1.3 of KT7-a for XP to work dont you? would this also apply to KT7-e? chers user12 |

Hmmm user12... good point i never thought of. How long did it take them to start making version 1.3? Was the Kt7-E after the 1.3 release?

kt7e's are NOT rev 1.3, but i think XPs will run in non 1.3 boards...

they work with the morgans aslong as you have the newest bios so I would think the XPs would also work but really u wouldnt want to put a AXP along site the old KT133e chipset that uses SDR with a AXP move to something with DDR
