anyone know a part/model # for the small 3-pin female connector that plugs into the mobo ?

I'm thinking that the Newark # 38C9145 (Molex # 22-01-3037) has the configuration I see on the single lead RPM sensing connectors

I think you are right actually Bill. My bad.
I have seen the AMP type as well but the Asus board I am looking at right now does have the Molex KK connector. Probably a safer bet. 22-01-2035 would fit this particular one. It has little feet which straddle the back plate. |
