Default Project: Echelon

Hey guys, I thought I would share one of my current and newest projects. I call it the Echelon, being the apex of my skills and abilities, and is the best computer that I own.

I am after a little hiatus finally going to liquid cool once again (pump problems on the last rig angered up the blood, just ripped it all out in the end).

This time I wanted to do something a little differant and give it the DIY touch with some custom res tubes installed into the top panel. Resessed inside rather than just mounted on top like everyone else. These will be fitted with Danger Den hi-flow fittings and will feed twin CSP-Mags. This will work out very well, with the reses right on top I can fill them, and they will drain to the rest of the system and prime the pumps all at once. I am still thinking about where to put the fill plugs on these, but I was considering Polarflo TT plugs meant for thier waterblocks. Ideas on that are welcome

The plan is to mount these with bright yellow LEDs at some point, so they will be lit up with liquid inside flowing through them. Anyway enough talk, more piccies.

What are the specs for your rig?

Are you going A64 or P4?
What type of cooling (parts) will you be using?

The system as it stands is:

Athlon64 3000+ Winchester (2160mhz 240@9x)
GeIL DDR500 Platinum 2x256 (512)Dual Channel (also at 240)
Abit AV8
Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro 128 with Arctic Cooling vga silencer and custom ramsinks
Enermax 430w PSU
2x Hitachi 160gb SATA (320gb total storage)
Lite on CD burner and DVD-ROM

The case is an Aspire Turbo Server case.

The cooling system will be:

Danger Den TDX 64 3/8 hi-flow barbs
Danger Den Maze 4 GPU 3/8 hi-flow barbs (low profile Delrin top version)
Black Ice Extreme chrome 1/2 barb
Twin C-Systems CSP-Mag pumps with 3/8 barb

And the dual custom reservoirs with DD 3/8 hi-flow barbs as well.

I have all of the gear aside the CSP Mags that are on pre-order still.

My system was moved into a another case I had laying around until I complete the system in my good one.
