Help - snap 4000 can't connect after OS upgrade
hey,
So i got my hands on a snap server running Software Version 3.4.803 Hardware Version 2.0.1 Bios Version 2.0.282 . No drives. have 3 300 gig drives waiting to be installed. booted it up and connected to it through Assist sofware. did the upgrade to 4.0.380. that went through but said that upgrade didn't finish. But i was able to connect to snap and confirm that it was 4.0.380 in the details of the snap server screen in Assist. then i started doing 4.0.860 update on it and it went through but i got a message saying "update finished, but assist was unable to connect to the device. please power off the device and try again" so i did that. but now i'm unable to connect to it. when i power it on, snap system light lights up steady, then starts blinking twice per second. link light is on, net light Blinks 6 times for a second, then pauses for 6 seconds, then repeats itself. and disk light is also off, since i don't have any drives in it. Anybody know how to get it to work, or do i have a doorstop? Thanks alex |
