how to get a company to sponser
I plan on building a new computer case . I was wondering how i would get some sponsors. Thanks

Sponsorship for mods comes after you have done some successful ones. Companies aren't going to invest in people that dont have a proven track record that will give the company a benifit.
So make a mod, get it /.ed, get it on digg, get it on bit tech, show to companies that thousands of people have looked at it, and say that if they sponsor your next project their gear will be in it. |

Sponsors usually want you to have your own website, a very sucessful one at that, with a few popular and well done projects that you have already done. The reason they sponsor you is so you can put their banner on your website, you can show off their products in your system, and you can give personal recommendation in your article. For them this equates to increased advertising and sales, which covers and exceeds their costs of sending you a few parts.
But for the average home modder, theres no benefit for them to send anything free. Your on your own. The majority of modded systems arent really unique or innovative enough these days to deserve special recognition. You're gonna have to make something that is very innovative mechanically and visually, something that most people havent seen before. |
