Well the Borg have landed and who knew that Marvin would be in charge?

The wire management is still a work in progress.

Hmmm... OK. You may not be the best judge of quiet if you enjoy Sig Sauer guns though. BTW, I kick myself every time I think of the opportunity I missed to pick up a Sig for a really good price about 9 years ago. They make very fine weapons.

Yea that along with thirty years of HVAC work the old hearing ain't what it used to be. Plus, I'm an HVAC guy, airflow is music to our ears!

30 years of HVAC?! Where's the compressor in that beast, then? Did you do custom ducting for it? I'm thinking that you're the kind of guy that would integrate his computer into the central air or add a 1/4HP compressor just to keep it interesting.

Just ribbing you, because it still looks nice just the way it is, and it's a bit more portable if it doesn't have a phase change setup or isn't hooked into the nearest register.

One step at a time my good man.

Believe me I have already been planning the next evolution. I just have to decide if it will really be worth it. The heat dump to the room from a small hermetic compressor will be something else to deal with.

Sigh... very correct. I notice an unpleasant difference to a room when I have a single high-powered system running in it, and a phase-change system just makes it worse.

just wondering the reason you didnt pipe it to your house cold water piping....that would give you tons of pressure and fresh cold water, and with the HVAC experience you have, it should be atmost 1~2 hour job (and 30 minutes of restacco the wall, 36 hour for paint to dry....)

It would only remain cold water if I was dumping the "used" water somewhere, plus I am on a well and to tap it back into the well would be more work and money than would be justified. I am considering installing a chiller in my large crawlspace and piping the loop inside.
