Default Replacement for the UnaBlock

I think I should do up a new version of my old article where I build and ultra-cheap watercooling setup. The UnaBlock doesn't appear to be available anymore. But I found a nice cheap replacement.. Like 99cents cheap.. Tho you'd have to add your own hose barbs and come up with a hold-down for it.. And I'm not sure it's wide enough for the heat spreader on modern CPU's.. But anyways, have a look..

Far better quality than the UnaBlock was.. Still aluminum like it was, which I remember was a huge sore point with a lot of people. I think modern coolants have kind of put that problem to bed, but kinda defeats the point of running a 99cent waterblock if you have to spend $40 on the coolant it requires.

Nice find Even if it is too small for today's CPUs it would still probobly work well on a north bridge or mosfets. And I think regular antifreeze offers the needed protection, right?

I dunno, I'm not qualified to say. I'll probably pick one up and see how it compares to the size of the heatspreader. Probably don't need to cover the whole heatspreader anyways.
Are you and I the only ones that post here anymore?
